Physics Lesson
The Three Leaning Towers Reflected
(See my 'Extra' to put it in context.)
Your physics teacher, and probably your art teacher as well, would have told you that reflections are always vertically below the object being reflected. That is true if the reflecting surface is horizontal, which it will be for free-standing water.
In this image, that is true for the brightest parts. However, the sandy beach is angled but still remains wet as water is constantly seeping through it from the ground behind. The reflection in this angled surface is therefore also angled giving the appearance of leaning towers.
Main Blip: The reflections rotated 180 degrees.
My 'Extra': The whole scene as it was photographed.
