The icicle tree

A number of these curious phenomena have cropped up round here recently. I have never seen anything quite like it before.

It's caused by a flooded bit of road which cars have splashed onto the hedge in the cold weather we have had.

I expect (hope) that the weather will warm up enough to melt these in the next few days so I thought I would record it.
