At last...

Woohoo, after two days of non-stop snow falling, poor visibilty, being unable to ski and staying indoors eating chocolate and reading my book we finally had beautiful weather today. The snow conditions were perfect with soft powder, blue skies and beautiful sunshine.

This is the view on one of the first runs we did this morning. The valley still has a mist lingering which soon burned off as the sun rose higher. The sky was the most incredible blue and I was reminded of that Michael McIntyre skit, where he says 'get your face in it' as I felt a desperate need for some sunshine after all the weeks of miserable weather back home and then for the past two days on holiday.

I think this good weather will continue tomorrow and then all change yet again is forecast...that is the mountains for you!
