Our journeys home from holidays are never a simple jump in the car and get home as quickly as possible. We always use it as another day of holiday.
We started our route home with a visit to Oakhmapton Castle - the remains of the largest castle in Devon built in the 14th century.
After a coffee stop on At Lynfird gorge we continued over Dartmoor with a walk up Bellever Tor - and what a beautiful spot it is.
Then drove to Sidmouth for a walk along the seafront.
Home just in time to receive our Tesco delivery for the week.
