Tonight's dinner.

We'll come back to that later.

Up to St Andrews, my old home town. We have a house that we renovated and have rented out for a while. Been very fortunate with tenants, who have just moved out. We have made the decision to sell so a visit to the estate agents to leap through the exactingly thorough anti-money laundering hoops. The cavity search was not entirely unpleasurable. So the process has begun.

We visited the property and are very pleased with the condition it is in, a couple of easily remedied small wall scuff marks. The large garden is however a bit of a jungle, so that is what I'll be doing for the next few days.

Yet any visit to St A deserves a visit to a most excellent butchers in Cupar which brings us back to tonight's dinner. A Stornoway Bomb! Minced meat wrapped in bacon, topped with a sauce and a bit of Stornoway black pudding (sheep's blood, not pig's) and a bit of mash which seemed very pleased to join the party.  Surprise! A black pudding core! Superbilicious. Steaks and beef olives were also purchased, but they can wait until the weekend.

My inner vegetarian has withered further, was never a hardy soul to start with.
