(9/365) Blue skies

Last night after uploading I was thinking about what I was going to shoot today. I want this 365 project to really be about photography, not just taking a random picture each day. I know that if I allow myself to just take a quick snapshot and be finished that I'll quickly run out of steam and not put as much effort into this as I actually want to.

So I'm trying to really make sure that I take photos that I'm proud of. The hard part is finding an interesting subject each day. I'm thinking of maybe testing out macro photography or product photos. 

Fortunately the sunrise this morning produced these amazing colors. So the picture of the day was right in front of me when I woke up. I wonder what I'll do tomorrow...
