Maggie’s Edinburgh

The advice is to never swim on your own but since no one was in the water at 8:30 this morning, not even a dog, I went ahead and swam anyway. Previously there have always been lots of other people going into the sea or coming out, so I wonder if they knew something I didn’t, but I lived to tell the tale.

This afternoon was my very last visit to a bereaved group meeting at Maggie’s. We had been meeting on Zoom since the beginning of the year and have only recently met face to face, but today was our last meeting. I took the blip of the building from the garden outside
