Haircut time!

Before he got Covid he needed a haircut, we had a day pencilled in and then obviously we had to rub it out. So after after school badminton club we went to get a cut. Good timing really, only one waiting in front of us. Will chatted away to the barber about everything and anything. I think they still find this quite endearing from an 11yr old, he has been like it since we started going here when he was about 8!

Carys worked really hard today as far as I can tell. She finished another portion of this unit of maths so when she does the self check quiz tomorrow she will be 50% through unit 8 of 10.

She spent the evening WhatsApp video calling her ballet friend M, who is also isolating. Lots of giggles could be heard through the door. Lovely to hear when you know what a hard time she had with friends when she was at school.

Will managed to get to the Hockey Keepers Academy in Letchworth, having missed last week due to iso. He really enjoyed it and was told he shows promise. I was told he is definitely capable enough for the group, which is good because apart from one they are all older than him.
