Power Generation at Sunset

Ratcliffe on Soar power station is set to close in the next 2-3 years. It runs on coal which is a notable producer of carbon dioxide. This afternoon the chimneys were churning out steam. The energy crisis must therefore be real.

Basil and I had gone to pick up Len off the London train from East Midlands Parkway. By chance a train was waiting in the station. You can see it.

Another quiet day for me. My leg is violently covered with bruising and my head feels permanently in a daze.

Oh, used my 24 inch t/s lens for this. Got to keep reminding myself how to use it but it was set up to go.
