moms and tots

It was a great day to get to the local zoo early. During the summer, members are allowed to enter at 8 am when the animals are let out, before the official 9 am public opening. I rarely got there that early, and now summer is over. But today the staff members had an 8 am meeting, so the animals were not let out until 9am, and that is when I arrived!
So I got to see the newest wallaby, TimTam, peeking out to look at mom. Also the twin Lemurs ( a boy and a girl, as yet unnamed) were getting a lecture from mom first thing. And lastly, our baby hippo, Omo, who is still nursing tried out some grass that mom was eating.
