Wine

I had two, two hour meetings cancelled today which meant I had pretty much the whole day free to do proper work. To say it was a novelty is an understatement.

As it was unexpected I probably didn't get the most out of it but it was nice not to be constantly clock watching for the next thing.

We had our WI Birthday meeting this evening. As has become traditional we did a wine tasting which went surprisingly well. A clear favourite was agreed on, and not the most expensive.

We hit a local pub afterwards; I'm not sure they entirely knew what had hit them.
