A Witch in Distress........

While riding my bike this afternoon, I saw couple putting this witch out.   
I had to stop and watch.  I had a great laugh as the the couple gave me history of this witch.
      Apparently she fell off her broom while scouting out the neighborhood.   Her broom was broken....  the stick was in 3 pieces, the bristles all fell off the bottom part and they saw all of the magic evaporate into the air leaving a broken, normal broom.
     The poor witch started to cry .  Without her magic broom she couldn't cackle, scare children,  fly around Booing all of the Trick or Treaters.....

The couple said she could stay in their front yard, they would gather pine needles and stuff the old fashioned burlap bags.   When the Halloween moon showed Halloween  light on her, there in the front yard with her broken broom.  ......
 The magic would be restored but she could only go home if she was kinder to the trick or treaters......  No more dripping blood, child hamburgers, parent fries, or pumpkin smashing.
      The witch had no choice......
.   All is set  for Halloween.  I will have to go by  and see how the pine needle   witch makes out.
