Early Warning Bug

This little bug sits just outside the patio window at Mrs BR's family house. Her Dad who is 86 uses it as his weather reporter. If its wings are whizzing round at top speed then he knows he needs to put his coat on before getting his car out of the garage.

It made me smile. The snow has almost gone, although they live on the edge of a place called Winter Hill. I'm not surprised its as cold as it is!

Not sure we will brave the Pennines this trip. We might go to visit York and the Viking settlement in the summer instead.

I hope you are all managing to keep warm 8-). It is absolutely freezing here!
