Ray of sunshine...

A day spent working in front of the computer gave me a dull headache - probably because my eye test is overdue and my varifocals are struggling to keep pace with my failing eyesite.
We took a walk in the woods this afternoon seeking a cure, and although it was still very wet and muddy, the sun came out and it was quite pleasant. In all the browns and dull greens of the wood, we suddenly came across a little clutch of bright daffodils at the foot of a tree, which was quite uplifting. I'm normally not too partial to daffodils but they quite brightened the day.
Still got the headache though...
