Charleroi

I took the early train of 7 am to visit the Photography museum of Charleroi. There were 2 temporary expostions by Andre Kertesz and Bernard Plossu. I have a great adoration for both photographers and it is worth the 2 hour by train.The museum is situated in an old monastery and has a huge permanent collection. They host a lot of activities and a lot of temporary expos. The distance from museum to the station is a bout 4 km. I went back on food and discovered the neigbourhoods , which i haven t seen before. People in this part of Belgium (Wallonie) are more friendly and ope and i adore the french language. Charleroi is getting some upgrades throughout the years. The want to get rid of the image as " impoverished  "city.
