I always enjoy...

... any encounter with a woodpecker, or a nuthatch, on my visits to Harlow Carr Gardens.

This morning I managed to see both in the space of 5 minutes -  great timing. 

Of course both were easier to photograph on the bird feeders because there are still lots of leaves on the branches.
