Charity Shop Run

I took a lot of bags of “stuff” (mainly books and clothes) to a charity shop in Swinton today.

Whilst there I had a look at the civic centre. All seemed pretty quiet. A lot of staff are still home working, and when people do return next year I have heard for many it is likely to be a mix of working at home and coming into the office on a part time basis. I think many businesses, public and private, are thinking of and taking the same approach. Home working has been shown to work, the post pandemic world will look different to the pre- pandemic world.

The lime trees on Chorley Road are always the advance guard of autumn’s “big drop”, and were looking very picturesque today
