Skenfrith
Year 2 Day 205 of UK COVID-19 Pandemic. First UK Vaccine 309 days ago. UK open. Overseas travel with restrictions.
Midfternoon I collected some items from Monmouth and then enjoyed the slow countryside route drive to Abergavenny (South Wales) to visit my brother; it was the monthly booze run as it's cheaper in England than Wales and over a year saves £250!
On the way is the little hamlet of Skenfrith, one of the oldest continually inhabited in Wales, dominated by it's castle (1201AD). Next to it is St Bridgets Church (1207AD)
