Dawyck

Dawyck is one of the gardens in the portfolio of the Royal Botanic Gardens of Edinburgh and is a wonderful place to visit at any time of year.

Took my 'big camera' (i.e. my DSLR) out for the first time since April and spent nearly four hours exploring and enjoying the scenery. Expect a Flickr-fest when I get home! Meanwhile, my Blip was taken on my smartphone.

A wander around Peebles in the late afternoon before seeking the sanctuary of my hotel when the serious rain arrived. A wee rest and then dinner. This is the life!
