When you make your wish come true

A bit of time on our hands today so we wandered into TK Maxx. Always an interesting shop, lots of "stuff" including the silver stags head tea light holder featured in the background of my Blip of 30th September. I resisted the urge to buy it, again.
We found a few things that would be useful, mugs, a couple of throws and some other bits. I had resisted temptation all the way round until I was queueing up to pay and then, they were there on the shelf simply shouting at me "Buy me Buy me Buy me".
Whiskey Rocks always struck me as a very sensible idea, chilling the drink without diluting it. I tried them tonight in a gin and tonic. It did chill the drink but it did not seem right. I worried about swirling the rocks around in the glass as stone and glass do not mix well.
I might try with a malt later on to see if it works better. Well its a good excuse anyway
