The view from Cadillac Mountain

We drove to the summit of Cadillac Mountain this afternoon, it was glorious. The foliage on the way to Acadia National Park was amazing and the views from the mountain were spectacular. You must have a reservation to drive up, so it wasn't crowded. Entrance to all the National Parks is free with my Senior Lifetime Pass.  We stayed until sunset, our reservation was from 3:30 on. I took so many photos that it was Really impossible to choose one. This one shows the view and the foliage as well, so I finally selected it.

For the Record,
This day came in sunny with clouds and overcast skies as the day went on, but, the views were amazing.
