Wireless Wheel Chock

A boring long day at work but I did find something new. Over the years I have use plastic, wood, rubber and metal wheel chocks to safely keep the truck/trailer at a door as someone loads/unloads the trailer but today I saw this one. This is at a new warehouse that opened just a month ago - when you put this wheel chock up tight against the tire - that "button" in the middle recesses and transmits to a receiver on the wall that turns the outside light to red and the inside light to green - meaning the trailer is secure and you can now enter it. I wonder how well it will hold up over the years..

An easy 280 mile day tomorrow....
