Just One Of Those Days

It was chilly and rainy all day.  Nothing was moving, not even the squirrels.  I suspect they were busy sorting out their booty from the last few days to make room for more.  There were a couple of deer resting on the lawn but other than that, nothing.  

"My" tree, which is actually in my neighbor's yard, is such a wonderful tree to watch all year.  From the first pale green leaves of spring to the bare branches of winter, it's really enjoyable to have around.  It's been steadily losing leaves and changing color so I think we can assume that it believes fall is definitely here.
