Coleus caninus

Coleus caninus is a herb from the mint family. It is native to southern and eastern Africa, India and Myanmar. When I was a little person we had a neighbour who was a keen gardener and he called these flowers Stinking Roger. They do smell rather, but other plants also go by this name.

This coleus, because of its smell, is said to repel cats and dogs.
