Not noticed him before!

At Oxburgh today and looked properly at an armoire which has recently been returned to the house. It is very dark wood, almost black, but when I took a photo of the carving on it the camera saw detail I could not. Only about 6 inches high but a very detailed little chap. I can’t decide whether he is smoking a pipe or playing an instrument.
