Patterns of Nature - Bark

I seem to have taken another of images of this week which are various patterns of nature, and here is another. I enjoy examining the different barks of tree varieties. Of this tree, I like the deep chasms in the bark. Perhaps a smooth one next.
We are off tomorrow to Norfolk for a week, so most of today has been taken with preparation, plus a haircut this afternoon.
