It's all happening in Honolulu

We caught the flight from Kaua'i to Honolulu, but had a whole afternoon to kill before the flight to Auckland. So we paid someone to look after our bags (there's no 'left luggage' these days - grrr) and headed off in a very slow bus. Our initial destination was Waikiki beach, but the bus was too slow, so we jumped off and headed for the sea. There were kite-surfers and kayaks everywhere we could see, and huge ships on the horizon, both navy and trade.

We passed the time away quite easily, with a nice lot of sun-soaking, too. Then onwards to Auckland!
