Turenne

We went up to Brive to collect a fire basket for the living room fireplace. We haven't used this fire before and we were looking forward to getting it going. On the way back we stopped for a walk around Turenne.  Then on to Quatre Routes to have lunch with P and J.  Back home again and I removed the draft plate that was keeping debris from falling down the chimney.  We then discovered that the chimney had been permanently blocked up, good and proper, so no fires will be had after all.  Anyone like to buy a fire basket?
