End of summer

There was a significant frost last night and some of the dahlias have suffered.  I know that because there was one earmarked for a blip and it is no more.  The chocolate cosmos is a little more hardy and makes a fine substitute.
We are no longer in a transition period up here.  It is Autumn.  Looking forward to the colours.
