Friday: Spring Onions / Shallots

Blue sky and sunshine all day.
Sat outdoors to eat my lunch, was looking at my phone when the Robin landed on my knee!! - there must have been crumbs …
Finally packed the seeds I’d been collecting for the Seed Swap took them to the Post Office along with another very important parcel …
Gardening job: sieved some dry compost and potted on seedlings of French Sorrel I’d started off a few weeks ago, they’re supposed to have larger softer leaves than other sorrels, it’ll be very welcome during winter!
The spring onions are doing well in tubs under the damson trees - they were last autumn’s pickling onions … which reminds me … !
