R&R

The badger juniors are in for a bit of R&R - repair and refurbishment.  

Predictably, the oak is splitting in parts as the logs weren't really big enough for the job, but they are still sound and it's only a case of aesthetics and preventing, or at least postponing, rot from the inside.  

Liberal oiling, and trying various options for filling the splits.  Slightly tricky, as in some ways, unless you can fill to the bottom of the void, it's perhaps better to keep the split innards exposed, so that they dry out after having got wet.
