Room With A View

Our wonderful evening at this hotel was complemented by a marvellous upgraded room courtesy of LV’s mega status with booking.com and how thoughtful to ensure I had a grandstand view of Farnborough Airfield where the famous show is held every year. Otherwise there wasn’t much notable about Terminal 3 or the 777 we flew on, the American Airlines experience was somewhat inferior to the British Airways one on the way here but safely home, Leyna went to bed almost straightaway and I stayed up till about 3 am UK time. The garden in the US had taken a bit of a battering from a storm here but I’m sure that will be tidied up at some point. Sad to be leaving behind a very memorable stay in Europe, but already thinking about next year’s trip
