ageing

Just had to take a photo of the ageing artichokes. Very characterful.

Feeling a little aged myself, after a full afternoon of grass cutting. My back is complaining, but fingers crossed, I stopped in time.

A recovery lie down was interrupted by a call from my 91 year old aunt who is very excited about a forthcoming trip to Shetland. We are going to meet up for a couple of days and are in the process of making arrangements. We have already had a number of confusing conversations about it - due to hearing and memory issues - (not all mine.)
Interesting times ahead, I think.
