First and last

First proper frost of the autumn with ice needing to be scraped off the car windscreen.

Last of the hollyhock blooms (pictured) which seemed to survive.

Hearing aid test and lots of planning activity for renovating the upstairs bathroom. But still time to enjoy a beautiful sunny but cool autumn day. And able to spend much of the day in shorts.

Rounded off the day and a social week meeting up for dinner with a niece and boyfriend up from London for a few days.
