Six for gold …

One for sorrow Two for joy Three for a girl Four for a boy Five for silver Six for gold Seven for a secret, never to be told Eight for a wish Nine for a kiss Ten for a bird you must not miss.
The magpies were very active on my neighbour’s roof this morning, at one point there were seven but one of them was not welcome for some reason and was chased off by the rest.
There have been a lot of small birds on the feeders in the garden too stocking up before winter arrives. It has been very cold for the past couple of days with frost on the car in the mornings, winter has maybe already arrived!
