Not quite enough for a crumble!

I'm not even sure if these rather small brambles will ever ripen but even in their unripened state the wee berries added a splash of colour in among all the green vegetation and withering leaves.

A good walk in the park this morning and I'm sure a few passing folk must have wondered what I was doing crouching down on the woodland floor and grass verges apparently photographing dull brown leaves ...... what they couldn't see was the fungus sometimes no bigger than a finger nail. I haven't even looked at the images yet to see if there's anythzing worth keeping.
