Sunny afternoon…

walk after the morning walk to see the snow covered tops of the Cairngorm plateau, over 1000m level. Put it in as an extra. I was surprised to see so much snow as it was four degrees warmer than yesterday, at 4°.
There were hundreds of Mallard and Wigeon on the loch and a large flock of Fieldfares in the Aspens.
Had a long blether with the farmer and he said the stags were roaring last night and this morning and hundreds of geese had been on the loch. We also solved all the problems of the world, as usual!
