Braidburn

Today saw a brief but successful trip to Tranent, where A and I were given a very reasonable quote for the oven, hob and hood that we'll need for the new kitchen. The modest shop was recommended by the kitchen fitter, and I got the impression that we were avoiding paying the premium of buying from a smart showroom in Edinburgh.

Thereafter, I shopped and took a bus into Edinburgh to bring Mum her shopping. After chatting, I walked along the Braid Burn to pick up some forgotten items from Cameron Toll, and get the bus home.

Not a day to be a Manchester United supporter...
