A singular pear

I've had this dwarf pear tree for many years. It has beautiful blossom every year but this is only the second time it has had fruit. Just the one but it was delicious.
Lunchtime we headed to the garden centre and had an afternoon tea. We brought most of the sweet stuff home.
Bought a few odds and ends which meant we could finish planting the hanging baskets and the trough by the front door.
That was after Mr EAnn had dropped me off at the top of the road and I walked the mile home.
Feels like a worthwhile day.
