Chelmer and Blackwater Navigation Canal

Wonderful weather for the middle of October.  Started chilly and cloudy but the sun came out and it was warm.

This morning K. came round and we drove to Heybridge Basin, had a coffee and then walked along the canal, so peaceful and lots of craft to see, loved the little pink boat in the main blip!  We walked along the canal into Maldon and then came back on the opposite side which was along the seawall, creek on one side and a huge lake on the other.  Plenty of birds and boats for K to enjoy:)  Had a lovely late lunch (3.30pm) and then came home, a quick shower of rain on way home.  Had a lot of photos to look through in the evening and could have put more as extras!
