Chamois above Ovronnaz

Wonderful to see these chamois on the snow line above Ovronnaz today. We took the chairlift up to Jorasse and walked the Tour de Grand Chateau. The weather was stunning; blue skies and a crisp autumn morning. We saw two different herds of chamois ( see extras for more shots). It wasn’t easy to get close to them but we enjoyed watching them wandering along the base of the cliffs. The views were beautiful, made even more special by the autumn colours.
