Birthday cake, family and fun

Today we had a family birthday celebration for me and my brother. My birthday isn't until this week, but my brother's was just over a week ago. Our birthdays are only two weeks apart, so we had a joint birthday celebration today. There was sparkly birthday cake and candles, presents, family, board games and fun. A lovely day, particularly as last year we were all still apart and couldn't celebrate together. It certainly makes you treasure days like this.
