Winchester Cathedral

We all caught a bus into Winchester today and headed first into Winchester Cathedral where we spent sometime browsing around. They have an interesting exhibition on covering its history from the old minster built in 648 to the current building in 1079. After this we headed out into the sunshine walking amongst the busy streets with several street performers attracting attention. Lunch was had in a very characteristic pie shop full of old toy characters and comic book cartoons. The pies were very good and l should have taken a blip from there but we were too busy eating.

We then had a stroll along the river before heading back to the bus station. Another enjoyable day out.
