Ash Dieback

A dark subject for a dark day.

There are a lot of ash trees round here. I don’t know trees very well, but I can tell ash trees. I’ve learned to recognise them because they’re the ones dying from Ash Dieback. It’s quick, it’s virulent, it’s ugly. This tree was just a few years old. Others are huge and probably way older than I am. Age doesn’t seem to matter. Ash dieback takes them all.
