Park Road Allotments, Isleworth

Our local allotments hit the national news this week, after the latest stage in a long battle between plot holders and the Duke of Northumberland. The allotments are on land owned by the Duke (net worth £370 million apparently) but he wants to build on part of the site. Local councillors rejected his plan this week, but the legal case is expected to run and run. It's a big local issue.
