aka golden curtain crust, is a basidiomycete fungus, a plant pathogen, and a wood decay fungus. 

I volunteered to be the caboose on one of the naturalist-led educational hikes during the day long Mushroom Madness event.  We had 37 people in our group.  A mushroom expert gave in-depth presentations in the lodge.  Outside they had mushroom crafts for kids and a mushroom food truck.  One of the naturalists made an indoor pot liner out of mycelium, wood chips, water, and flour.  If you have time, see what else can be made at this link.  Truly amazing.
