In the Garden

It was foggy and cold this morning, but the sky cleared and a gorgeous fall sun broke through around 11 am. I had planned to spend the afternoon in the garden since it's going to rain tomorrow. Normally I take care of the grandchildren on Saturdays, but they went to a birthday party so I picked them up mid-afternoon instead. They're here through dinner, so I escaped upstairs to post this so it wouldn't be too late!

The dahlias are still in full bloom - isn't this a beauty? Dahlia 'GoGo Pink Yellow' glowing in the afternoon sun.
