Nearly there

The wooden 'bridge' in the Rhodo Gardens leads you onto The Island - an area encircled by the visitors' driveways, and beautifully planted with (you guessed) rhodos and azaleas. It also has a small rotunda where, years ago, a recorder group made up of a few friends and moi, played on a sunny afternoon when the Gardens were putting on devonshire teas in the Lodge during the OpenGarden season. Music, flowers, birds...blissful!
