Misplaced Poles

The September edition of the Jolly Boys Outing, through some considerable searching, reviewing, emailing and phone calling, took us back to Doddington on Kent's North Downs.

Meanwhile, brimming with confidence that all was well, one of us arrived with tent but without poles. Thanks to the kindness of the site owners, this miniature version of a tent was lent to the gentleman in question (who shall remain nameless) who rose before dawn the following morning to retrieve the missing items from home.

In all other respects our arrival was a success, celebrated by a trip to the close at hand Chequers Inn.
