Phew….. Thank goodness that’s over….

Myrtle is lying on a cardboard scratching mat chilling out after an intensive grooming session. She has the biggest, longest, furry coat I have ever seen on a cat. She looks very broad and/or chubby in this photo but believe me, it is all fur. Friend Cathie, who helped us choose her when she was a little kitten, visited this morning and helped me groom her. We rewarded her with “Temptations” treats during the session. We groomed her sister Marigold and Bryan the Birman as well. They are all shedding their winter coats so there was lots of loose fur to come out. Thanks to Cathie…. A great cat handler!.
